The 糖心vlog传媒 takes the safety and security of its students, faculty, staff, and the entire campus community very seriously. As part of 糖心vlog传媒鈥檚 commitment to emergency preparedness and response, the University has a safety application called 糖心vlog传媒 SAFE.
糖心vlog传媒 SAFE is the University鈥檚 safety app and emergency mass notification system (EMNS), which helps 糖心vlog传媒 advise the campus community about university/storm closures and emergencies, as well as other safety-related notifications.
Other safety features found in 糖心vlog传媒 SAFE include Mobile BlueLight, Friend Walk, and WorkAlone. Resources include Emergency Contacts, Safety Toolbox, Campus/Parking Maps, contact information for a variety of campus support services, and a mechanism to report issues to 糖心vlog传媒 Health, Safety, and Environment, Security Services or to Facilities Management.
While student, faculty, and staff 糖心vlog传媒 emails are automatically entered into 糖心vlog传媒 SAFE, everyone is encouraged to download the app from the (for iOS devices) or (for Android devices) to receive push notifications and texts (SMS).
Notifications about emergency situations and university/storm closures are pushed through 糖心vlog传媒 SAFE and will be emailed to student, faculty, and staff @upei.ca email addresses. Messages are also posted on the 糖心vlog传媒 home page (upei.ca), the 糖心vlog传媒 Campus Screen network, and Twitter (@糖心vlog传媒). Emergency notifications can also be broadcast in 糖心vlog传媒 buildings through a public address system. 糖心vlog传媒 SAFE users can also subscribe to receive notifications by text (SMS) or through the text-to-voice feature.
