Anne Simpson, national award-winning novelist and poet, will read from her new novel and poetry collection on Thursday, October 28, at 7:30 pm in The Carriage House at Beaconsfield Historic House, 2 Kent Street, Charlottetown.

Today, the Honourable Dennis King, Premier of Prince Edward Island, and Dr. Alaa Abd-El-Aziz, President and Vice-Chancellor of the ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½, announced the expansion of the Faculty of Nursing and ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ Health and Wellness Centre, as well as the establishment of a new Faculty of Medicine at ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½.

It’s home-opener weekend for ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ Women’s and Men’s Hockey! ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ Women’s Rugby is also looking to improve its 2–2 season record with a home game on MacAdam Field in ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ Alumni Canada Games Place.

After providing health care to students at the ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ for the past 30 years, Dr. David Reid has retired from the ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ Health and Wellness Centre. Dr. Reid began practising at the health centre at ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ in 1991, making him one of the longest serving doctors on the campus. 

The last time we saw the ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½â€™s women’s hockey team, they were among the best teams in the country getting ready to battle for a national medal following a thrilling and emotional playoff run.

Every week, ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ Athletics and Recreation recognizes two student-athletes for their achievements and dedication to their respective sports.

The ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ Winter’s Tales Author Series resumes October 7 with the launch of a memoir from one of PEI’s most celebrated and beloved poets and teachers,  Dr. Richard Lemm, a professor in the ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ Department of English.

The ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ Panthers have one of the busiest weekends of the season coming up, hosting AUS action for soccer, plus exhibition games in hockey and basketball.

The Institute of Island Studies (IIS) at ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ is embarking on a four-year project to better understand and assess the well-being and quality-of-life of Islanders.
