Vice-President Administration and Finance Jackie Podger announced today that Fred Horrelt has been appointed Associate Vice-President, Facilities Management and Construction at the ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½.

The ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ Music Department Recital Series is pleased to present an evening recital of ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ vocal alumni, featuring Jillian Clow, soprano; Parker Clements, baritone; and, Magdalena von Eccher, piano. 

Congratulations to Jenna Mae Ellsworth and Filip Rydstrom, the ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ Panther Subway Athletes of the Week for December 30 to January 5.

The next talk in the Institute of Island Studies’ Island Lecture Series will feature Dr. Tina Pranger speaking about her book documenting the history of mental health care on Prince Edward Island.

Dr. Jeff Collins, a lecturer in ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½â€™s Master in Global Affairs program, was selected this fall by the US Department of State for its International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP).

Students along with representatives from ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½â€™s Alumni Association, Board of Governors, and administration will greet guests at the annual ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ New Year’s Day Levee.

There’s no rest for the ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ women’s hockey and men’s basketball teams this holiday season as both hit the road to test their mettle before the second half of the season.

Dana Sanderson, Chief Information Officer at the ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½, was a finalist this fall for the (ITAC) CIO of the Year. 

Dr. Michelle Evason, an associate professor of small animal internal medicine at AVC, has co-authored a new textbook, Infectious Diseases of the Dog and Cat: A Color Handbook, with Dr. Scott Weese, an infectious disease researcher and a professor in the Department of Pathobiology, Ontario Veterinary College.
