The ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ Panthers are looking forward to a week of basketball and hockey at home and on the road.

The ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ congratulates President Emeritus H. Wade MacLauchlan on being installed as chancellor of the University of New Brunswick.

Every week, ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ Athletics and Recreation recognizes two student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. The ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ Panther Athletes of the Week for October 30–November 5 are Aiden Rainford (women’s basketball) and Jace Colley (men’s basketball).

The ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering (FSDE) recently collaborated with the Make-a-Wish Foundation to help grant a wish for an Island child by assembling a wheelchair-accessible swing at his home in O’Leary, PEI.

Dr. Christian Lacroix, professor and chair of the ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ Department of Biology, took his Plant Community Ecology class to Basin Head on November 4 to study the unique mature grey dune system adjoining the beach.

ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ is now accepting nominations for the 2023 Founders. Submissions via an online form or email must be received by November 17, 2023, at 12:00 pm AT (noon).

In a message to employees, Dr. Greg Keefe, interim ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ President, updated faculty and staff on the use of non-disclosure agreements and employee supports available at ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½.

Since claiming the Atlantic University Sport (AUS) title in 2019–20, the ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ Women’s Basketball Panthers have been knocking on the door for another championship, and they’re hoping this is the year they break through again. 

Dr. Étienne Côté, a faculty member at ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½â€™s Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC), was honoured earlier this year with the Daniel Elmer Salmon Award
