The ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ Women’s Rugby and ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ Hockey Panthers are looking forward to a weekend of competition on the road.

7:00 pm: The ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ Women’s Rugby Panthers play the Acadia University Axewomen in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, for their regular season finale.
7:00 pm: The ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ Women’s Hockey Panthers play the St. Francis Xavier University X-Women in Antigonish, Nova Scotia.
7:00 pm: The ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ Men’s Hockey Panthers play the Saint Mary’s University Huskies in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Strength in unity: ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ Panthers built to turn lessons into playoff run

The ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ Women’s Hockey Panthers are hungry for playoff success this year, and they have the determination and focus to get there.

Last year, they missed the playoffs by a single point, but that loss lit a fire under the team.

For head coach Sean Fisher, it reinforced both the team’s potential and the importance of consistent execution.

Join ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ President Wendy Rodgers for her casual "coffee chat" this Thursday, October 9 in The Fox and Crow at the W.A. Murphy Student Centre while CBC's Island Morning and Radio-Canada's Le réveil are broadcast live! The two radio shows will air simultaneously, beginning at 6:00 am, with each featuring different guests from ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ on a variety of topics, in addition to regular show elements.

ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ Philosophy Reading Group underway for 2025–2026 academic year

The ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ Philosophy Reading Group is starting up again for the 2025–2026 academic year. The group meets monthly at various downtown locations and is open to faculty, staff, students, and members of the general public.

This year, the group will focus on the philosophy of Gilles Deleuze, beginning with his book Nietzsche and Philosophy.
