Teaching and Learning Centre Lunch and Learn: Writing Across the Curriculum workshops
In response to significant faculty feedback, Writing Across the Curriculum workshops (WACshops, for short) are being planned for roll-out, beginning in October and continuing over the Fall 2025 and Winter 2026 semesters. These WACshops will be co-facilitated by long-time ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ faculty WAC advocates and practitioner-researchers, Wendy Shilton (English) and Andrew Zinck (Music). A variety of guest facilitators (both faculty and students) also will be invited to share their WAC strategies throughout the series.

AVC resident to present research at international surgery summit
This October, Dr. Yoko Nakamae, a large animal surgery resident at the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) at the ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ (ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½), will travel to Seattle, Washington, to present her research at the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS) Surgery Summit, the premier surgical conference for veterinary professionals worldwide.
Rowan Gallagher and Isaac Sommerville named ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ Panther Source for Sports Athletes of the Week
Every week, ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ Athletics and Recreation recognizes student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. The ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ Panther Source for Sports Athletes of the Week for September 8–15 are Rowan Gallagher (women’s rugby) and Isaac Sommerville (men’s soccer).
ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ hosting events during Sexual Assault Awareness Week
This year, PEI’s annual Sexual Assault Awareness Week takes place from September 18 to 24, 2025. This is a dedicated time to raise awareness about sexual violence, to educate on sexual violence prevention, and to show compassion and offer support to survivors of sexual violence in our community.
To recognize this important week, the ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ Sexual Violence Prevention and Response Office (SV-PRO), the ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ Student Union, and Robertson Library have organized a series of events on the ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ campus.
