The Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) at the ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ is pleased to congratulate Dr. Fred Kibenge, professor, Department of Pathology and Microbiology, AVC, on being named one of the 2022 Springer Nature Editorial Contribution Award recipients for his work as a section editor in the Spring Nature BMC Virology Journal 

Starting September 7, 2022, all members of the Indigenous community on Prince Edward Island will have the opportunity to learn the Mi’kmaw language at no cost.

The ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ Women's Hockey team will add Emily Holmes, from Miramichi, NB, to their defensive line this season.

The Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) at the ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ congratulates Dr. Kathryn (Katy) Proudfoot, associate professor, Department of Health Management, and director, Sir James Dunn Animal Welfare Centre, on being named the 2022 recipient of the American Dairy Science Association (ADSA) Foundation’s Scholar Award in Dairy Production.  

The Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) at the ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ officially welcomed a new cohort of 68 students during the AVC-Canadian Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) Blue Coat Ceremony and Dinner on Friday, August 26.

Award-winning author Katherine Dewar will give two talks in September about Prince Edward Island women who served in the Second World War. 

A historic event took place at ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ recently when members of the University’s new Faculty of Indigenous Knowledge, Education, Research, and Applied Studies (IKERAS) gathered to get to know each other and talk about teaching their first courses this fall.
