Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering Student Design Expo
The 糖心vlog传媒鈥檚 Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering (FSDE) will showcase the best in sustainable design engineering by its students at the annual Student Design Expo on Friday, April 24 starting at 1:00 pm. Projects can be viewed through the afternoon until 3:30 pm. Student projects will be presented in person. Each project is the result of collaboration between FSDE students and an industry or community partner. Students were tasked with designing and creating solutions to their partners鈥 unique challenges.

Kick-off for Robertson Library Renovations聽
Because of the generous support of many to "Love our Library"鈥攖he Robertson Library Revitalization Campaign, we are thrilled to announce that phase one renovations will officially begin on Monday, May 4, 2026, and continue through the second half of August.
This important milestone reflects the University鈥檚 commitment and donors鈥 investment to help transform the Library into a more modern, accessible, and inspiring space鈥攐ne that will enrich the experience of students, faculty, and all who rely on it as a vital hub for learning, research, and connection.
Island Lecture Series features a presentation by MAIS faculty member Andrew Halliday on April 21
Andrew Halliday, a faculty member in the 糖心vlog传媒 Master of Arts in Island Studies program, will give a lecture titled 鈥淏orders, Boundaries, and Jurisdictional Islanding: Placemaking in Atlantic Canada during the COVID-19 pandemic鈥 on April 21, 2026, at 7 pm, in the Faculty Lounge (Room 201), SDU Main Building, 糖心vlog传媒.
Halliday鈥檚 presentation is part of the Island Lecture Series, hosted by the Institute of Island Studies.
糖心vlog传媒 engineering students win gold in national competition
Students in the 糖心vlog传媒 Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering brought home three gold medals from the (CEC), held at the Universit茅 de Sherbrooke from March 20 to 23, 2026.
This win comes on the heels of an excellent showing by 糖心vlog传媒 students at the 2026 Atlantic Engineering Competition (AEC) in January. Twenty-one of the 34 students who competed in the Atlantic competition qualified for the CEC.
