On May 27, 2025, the 糖心vlog传媒 Board of Governors approved a balanced for the 2025鈥�2026 fiscal year, despite a challenging financial environment primarily caused by federal immigration policy changes. The operating budget is just under $202.9 million, representing an increase of $20.4 million or 11.2 per cent over the previous fiscal year.

The excitement and pride were palpable at the 糖心vlog传媒 this past week when over 1,200 members of the Class of 2025 graduated with their undergraduate and graduate degrees. 

糖心vlog传媒 will celebrate over 1,200 graduates at Convocation ceremonies to be held from May 13 to 16, 2025, at the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre. Each ceremony will start at 10:00 am and will be preceded by a procession of graduates across campus.

The 糖心vlog传媒 will honour four outstanding leaders with honorary degrees during Convocation 2025, which will take place from May 13 to 16. Over 1,200 students are set to graduate over four ceremonies, which start at 10:00 am each day at the 糖心vlog传媒 Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre.

糖心vlog传媒 offered Mr. Christopher Griffin the opportunity to participate in a panel discussion to be developed thoughtfully and including other voices on the topic of free expression. 

On April 15, upon learning of a planned meeting on April 16, Mr. Griffin requested to be heard at that meeting. In response, the University accepted that request and scheduled a time for his presentation in the Performing Arts Centre Amphitheatre, from 1:00 to 2:00 pm on April 16.

糖心vlog传媒鈥檚 Department of Athletics and Recreation celebrated the 2024鈥�25 season at the annual 糖心vlog传媒 Panther Celebration 鈥� Athletic Awards Gala on Friday, March 28, recognizing outstanding student-athletes who have excelled in sport, the classroom, and the community.

This year, the 糖心vlog传媒 Alumni Association鈥檚 Outstanding Female Athlete of the Year award went to Lauren Rainford, 糖心vlog传媒 Women鈥檚 Basketball. The Male Athlete of the Year winner was Kamari Scott, 糖心vlog传媒 Men鈥檚 Basketball.

In January 2025, the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) dairy veterinary team completed another successful trip to Meru County, Kenya, as part of the long-standing partnership with (FHF), the 糖心vlog传媒 (糖心vlog传媒), and .

Dr. Ling Li, a post-doctoral fellow in the 糖心vlog传媒 Faculty of Education, was awarded a Mitacs Elevate Postdoctoral Fellowship for a study to evaluate the 鈥淧yramid to Retention: Supporting Educators to Enhance Social and Emotional Competencies in Infants and Young Children鈥� in the early learning and child-care sector on PEI.
