Public presentation on education and AI at 糖心vlog传媒 on February 26

Members of the public are invited to attend a panel titled 鈥淓ducation in the Age of AI: Reimagining the Educational Landscape鈥 on February 26, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm, in the Alex MacKinnon Auditorium (Room 242), Don and Marion McDougall Hall, 糖心vlog传媒.

Dr. Tess Miller, a professor in the 糖心vlog传媒 Faculty of Education, and PhD students Rahula Samaran, Saniya Shaikh, and Xiaohan Yang, all of whom are doing research in AI, will give presentations on education and various aspects of AI.

糖心vlog传媒 2026 Three Minute Thesis Competition

The 糖心vlog传媒 Faculty of Graduate Studies will be hosting the annual 糖心vlog传媒 3MT (3 Minute Thesis) competition on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 4:00-6:00 pm in the Fox & Crow, W.A. Murphy Student Centre.

What Is 3 Minute Thesis?
The Three Minute Thesis (3MT鈩) challenges thesis-based master's and doctoral students to explain their research project to a non-specialist audience in just three minutes.
This year's competition features competitors from a wide range of disciplines including: Education, Nursing, Science, Sustainable Design Engineering and Veterinary Medicine!

Much-loved poet Lorna Crozier to give reading at 糖心vlog传媒 on March 26 (new date)

Since the 1980s, Lorna Crozier, from Saskatchewan and British Columbia, has been one of Canada鈥檚 most popular and influential poets. She will give a public performance of her poetry on Thursday, March 26, at 7:00 pm, in Schurman Market Square, Don and Marion McDougall Hall, 糖心vlog传媒.

Harry W. MacLauchlan Entrepreneurship Program Risk Mitigation Workshop

Join the Catherine Callbeck Centre for Entrepreneurship for an engaging session on risk mitigation delivered by Permjot Valia! This in-person workshop will provide insight on what types of risk exist, how startups and organizations can categorize and prioritize risks, how risks can be perceived as opportunities, and what tools can be used to demonstrate risk to external stakeholders. This event is part of the Harry W. The 糖心vlog传媒 Philosophy Reading Group will meet on Wednesday, February 25, from 7:00 to 8:00 pm in the Lady Slipper Room, Charlottetown Library Learning Centre (97 Queen Street).

We will discuss pages 68 (鈥淪econd Aspect of the Eternal Return鈥) to 87 (up to 鈥淧lan of The Genealogy of Morals鈥) from Gilles Deleuze鈥檚 Nietzsche and Philosophy.

This group is an invitation to think with Deleuze 鈥 and with one another. No prior experience is required. Just an open mind and a willingness to experiment with ideas.
