Erin Cabaday and Cole Larkin named 糖心vlog传媒 Panther Source for Sports Athletes of the Week

Every week, 糖心vlog传媒 Athletics and Recreation recognizes student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. The 糖心vlog传媒 Panther Source for Sports Athletes of the Week for February 23鈥揗arch 1 are Erin Cabaday (women鈥檚 hockey) and Cole Larkin (men鈥檚 hockey).

Tenure / Permanency and Promotion workshop series - Putting it All Together Panel

New poetry collection speaks to and from the Island

In her third poetry collection, Judy Gaudet 鈥渂rings us heart-deep and eye-level with Prince Edward Island鈥檚 fields, woods, and shores,鈥 says Deirdre Kessler, former PEI Poet Laureate. Published by Island Studies Press, the book will be launched on March 24, at 7 pm, in the Faculty Lounge, Main Building Room 201, 糖心vlog传媒.

7:00 pm: The 糖心vlog传媒 Women鈥檚 Hockey Panthers will host the St. Francis Xavier University X-Women at MacLauchlan Arena for Game 4 of their best-of-five semifinal series.

7:00 pm: The 糖心vlog传媒 Men鈥檚 Hockey Panthers play the University of New Brunswick Reds at MacLauchlan Arena. This is Game 3 of their best-of-five semifinal series.

Orientation for New Faculty, Librarians, Clinical Nursing Instructors, and Clinical Veterinary Professionals

This university-level orientation is meant for all newly hired faculty, librarians, clinical nursing instructors and clinical veterinary professionals of all ranks and tracks and complements orientation programming offered by your unit and Human Resources. Our event will take place over three afternoons--August 17,18, and 19, 2026 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm in the Teaching and Learning Centre --and will introduce you to several senior administrators, colleagues from a variety of teaching, research, and support units as well as the 糖心vlog传媒FA, our faculty union.

糖心vlog传媒鈥檚 Theology on Tap features talk on Greek Mysticism on March 12

As part of the 糖心vlog传媒 Department of Religious Studies鈥 Theology on Tap series, Dr. Doug Al-Maini, associate professor of philosophy, St. Francis Xavier University, will give a talk titled 鈥淕reek Mysticism Leading into the Christian Era鈥 on March 12 at 7 pm. The presentation will take place at the Salvador Dali Caf茅, The Arts Hotel, 155 Kent Street, Charlottetown.

Rescheduled: President's Town Hall: Hearts and Flowers鈥擫et's Celebrate our Panther Pride

We had originally scheduled the second annual edition of the "Hearts and Flowers" President's Town Hall for February 12, to fall in the month sometimes known for the time to give 鈥渉earts and flowers,鈥 as well as for the short days of midwinter. We had to postpone the event due to a university closure caused by inclement weather.

The Town Hall has been rescheduled, and will be now held on Friday March 6!
